Live Out Nanny with Special Needs Experience Job in London Borough Of Barnet
About Me
We are currently on the lookout for a nanny for our autistic 10 year-old boy. He goes to a specialised school so hours would be 3:00pm- 8:00pm. After school.
Duties including light house work ie cleaning up after his meals, light toileting ie prompts to wash hands etc. A good understanding of autism and sensory processing disorder is a must and ability to adapt to situations and remain calm.
Must have:
-Patience
-An abundance of energy
-Compassion and empathy.
- quick reflexes and have your eye on the ball.
£25p/hr
Currently using AAC and makaton as a form of communication.
Must have a full online DBS check. We are very much looking for someone to become part of the family.

Fran really isn't just a nanny she really understands how important early child development is. She has gone out of her way to explore how my little one absorbs information, each activity she does with him is tailored according to him. She has already bought him books that are his favourite and has got him taking naps in the cot which was something l was struggling with. She is an outstanding nanny!

Val is an absolute god send!! Though she was only with us for a short time my son was absolutely taken with her. She is very thorough and will ensure your child gets the best care and attention from reading, singing, cooking and nap time she's a real life Mary Poppins. I hope to use her again !! Thoroughly recommend Val
