Hello everyone,
My name is Sherhys, and I’m currently working in a wonderful preschool based in Clapham. However, I am available for babysitting in the evenings in and around my local area (SW11) and the occasional weekends.
I have had experience working in a Montessori nursery in the baby room for 2 years, with experience at other nurseries and school placements. I would consider myself very family oriented as I come from a big family. I am also a happy, bubbly, yet calm character. I enjoy working with babies/children as I enjoy helping children with their development, taking children to their classes, swimming lessons and indoor activities etc. I have a great understanding of the EYFS as I studied Childcare in college for 3 years.
July 2019 - November 2019
Worked for a local family providing their child with healthy meals, taking him to classes, local library, swimming and walks in the park. Reading and general play (painting and drawing) when at home.
2017-2019
Worked for a lovely family, 2 children (first born- from 2 weeks old sole care)
Travelled aboard with family when needed, sole care of eldest child when parents were aboard
(weekends only) as well as looking after both children over night.
I am looking for a family around the SW11, SW12 & SW4 areas only.
2020
Worked for a lovely temporary family with their daughter who was in her first year of secondary school. During the holidays we would go to the museum’s, art galleries, national parks, cinema. We also had fun at home doing arts and crafts, baking, camping in the living room and more.
2023-2024
Worked in a local nursery in baby room as deputy room leader.
2026
Currently working in a preschool with children ages 2-5.
My Experience

I studied at Kingston College- CACHE Childcare Level 2&3 Diploma.
2013-2014
Ethelburga Early Years- I started off as a student, then became permanent.

2017-2019 - Private Nanny, sole charge of 2 children. 2 week old baby up until toddler.

Now currently working in a local preschool
I have previously had a few families I babysat for in the areas of SW11,SW12 and W6. With the youngest being 3 months and the eldest 11years old.
