My Summary
About Me
I offer safe, reliable childcare, I am registered with CIW, for children from birth to 12 years old. I have a separate playroom for the children to enjoy, full of toys, books, puzzles, arts & crafts and various other play materials. My house is opposite a primary school, to which I offer a wrap-around service. My house has a decked area and large garden. I am married to Ronnie and I have one daughter, and a grandson.
I have no pets and I am a non-smoker.
My Experience
I am fully experienced in stages of child development, as I hold a full nursery nurse diploma, (NNEB). I have worked with children of all ages over 20 yrs and I understand how important it is for young children to learn through play, and I encourage a set routine. I feel this prepares toddlers for school and sets a foundation for education.
I offer structured daily play activities and follow the EYF Foundation phase of encouraging development through play. I am currently studying the SEND code of practice and child psychology.
My Qualifications
ICP in Homecare based child-minding,
CACHE level 3,
NNEB, (Nursery Nurse Diploma)
Paediatric First Aid,
Food Hygiene 2.
Experience in Early Years Foundation Development
I am also a qualified assessor with an A1 diploma in youth work
My Availability
I am very flexible and I am available throughout the week for full days from 7:30 to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday
I am not available on a Fridays.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees are charged per hour for normal hours. I make allowances for fulltime children and I offer discount for siblings. However I charge extra for unsociable hours, (before 7:30 or after 5:30) and an extra charge for late
pick-ups.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Cwmbach Community Primary
