About Me
Hi, I’m Tanya! I’ve been a childcare provider for over 14 years, and I’m truly passionate about education and child development. My approach focuses on each individual child—supporting, encouraging, and celebrating their unique growth.
I’m also a proud mum to a lively two-year-old daughter who loves exploring nature and making new friends. Together, we spend a lot of time outdoors—visiting local parks, libraries, activity groups, and children’s centres.
Creativity is very important to me, so I often use art, crafts, and music to spark imagination and build practical skills. Over the years, I’ve also drawn inspiration from a variety of educational philosophies, including Montessori and Waldorf (which emphasise child-centred learning and collaboration), as well as Reggio Emilia, which encourages project-based exploration.
We are a trilingual household (speaking Spanish, Bulgarian, and English), which I believe enriches children’s experiences and nurtures their curiosity about the wider world.
My Experience
For the past 14 years, I have worked as a nanny for families from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, gaining valuable insights into different traditions and ways of life.
I hold a BAs in Psychology of Education, and while studying, I volunteered for three years at a primary school supporting children with learning difficulties. There, I led a programme focused on social and emotional development. I later completed my Master’s degree in Child Development, deepening my understanding of how children learn and thrive.
After becoming a mother, I decided to combine my professional knowledge with my personal experience by re-qualifying as a childminder through an Ofsted-registered agency, Tinay.

My Availability
- My working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 18:00.
- If you ever need occasional care outside of my usual hours, I’m happy to discuss a one-time arrangement. There would be a small additional charge, which may vary depending on the situation.
