About Me
I have a NVQ Level 3 in childcare, Clean DBS check, and a full clean driving license. I also have lots of experience with children all of ages through various childcare jobs and babysitting! I am fully flexible and am willing to travel within a 20 mile radius of Westbury. I am also willing to take your child/children out and on day trips if you would prefer them to get out of the house and do something... this is popular with the other family’s I babysit! I am currently a support worker for young adults with learning disabilities/difficulties, and have been in this role for 4 years. My Experience
I have had lots of experience with children of all ages and intend to gain more experience and knowledge through continuing to babysit and work with children. I first started my work with children whilst I was at secondary school where I chose to do my work experience placement in a nursery. From this I decided that working with children is what I wanted to do in my future. I then went on to study Childcare level 3 at Bath College. Here I carried out 3 different placements, one in a nursery, one a school and one at a local childminders so I could get experience with all ages. As well as these experiences I also had a job at Woolley Grange Hotel in the children’s Crèche which looked after children 0-10 years old. I have a clean DBS check and a full driving licence. Through my support worker job, I am trained in learning disabilities, epilepsy, tube feeding, basic first aid, suctioning and personal care.
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I have had a lot of experience with children through my time working in different childcare settings as well as having younger family members who I regularly look after.
