About Me
Ofsted graded Outstanding. Hook-with-Warsash before and after school vacancies. Over 20 years childcare experience. Recently a childminder in Southampton I'm now in Warsash. I used to support childminders for the local authority. I’m a home from home outdoor loving setting. I'm a fun, imaginative and creative person. I love being outdoors and getting children out and about. I have a house with a large garden which has an outdoor play area, wheeled toy area and an indoor garden playroom. I also have areas to play inside the house including a sensory room.
My Experience
I've been working with children for 20 years, including those with SEN/D. I have a degree in childhood studies and have taught childcare in a college. Prior to this I supported childminders for the local authority. I have also worked as a nanny, Lovaas Therapist, nursery nurse and respite carer. I collect from Warsash pre-schools, nurseries and Hook-with-Warsash school.
My Qualifications
BA HONS Degree in Childhood Studies
PGCE in Post Compulsory Education
Paediatric 1st Aid
Level 3 Safeguarding
My Availability
I have vacancies for all year around, term time and holiday clubs. I operate Monday-Friday 07.30-18:00 but I can be flexible. I offer flexible hours and offer funded hours, voucher schemes and tax free childcare.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
Under 5’s £4.50 per hour. My fees include drinks and snacks but not meals. Meals can be provided for a cost of £2 per meal, £1.50 cold lunch and £1 breakfast. This does not include wipes, nappies, formula milk etc.

Kendal is professional and highly organised. She's warm, approachable and lots of fun. My daughter has settled quickly and really loves her time with Kendal and the other children she looks after.
