About Me

Hi, my name is Laura and I am 37 years old. I live in North Baddesley with my partner, our two sons and our little toy poodle. I am currently looking for work to start from January 26.
My youngest son will be starting preschool with his older brother and I will need to pick them both up for 4pm. I am flexible on start time as my partner will take them to preschool.
I will be available to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Jan 2026.
8am-3pm or 3.30 depending on where you live. My boys have the holidays off preschool so I would prefer to work term time only However if you’re flexible to allow my children to join during the holidays then I can be available. I have plenty of experience of brining my children to work so it doesn’t interfere with me doing my job.


In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking, days out with family, Photography and travel. I like to keep healthy, eat well and try to be as active as possible. I enjoy walks with my family and our dog and love being in nature. I am kind and caring and a real people person. Children are naturally drawn to me as I respect and value them. I give them space to come to me in their own time and don’t overwhelm them. I can become part of the family whilst remaining professional at the same time. I have worked with many different families with differed values and discipline styles, so therefore I completely follow mum and dad’s wishes when it comes to approaching these things. I myself am a gentle parent (I don’t need to shout, however I am firm but fair). I believe in setting boundaries to keep the child safe etc.

I am ideally looking for 3 days. I am very experienced with all age groups and have been a nanny for 17 years.
I have fantastic knowledge of the early years foundation stage and ( If you’re interested) I can plan activities and outings accordingly to your child’s age. This will ensure they’re meeting their age appropriate milestones. I have worked with children from newborn to age 16 and as a people person, I feel that this comes naturally to me. Including having a cup of tea with granny every week! I am happy to socialise the children as often as you like as I have a fantastic network of nanny friends around me. We are all a tight knit group and the children have made great friendships.
I have worked in many settings including nurseries, holiday clubs, private households with all ages. I have also had experience with a range of special needs and disabilities.
