Hi parents,
I am a professional nanny with
more than 20 years experience in different educational settings as a nursery nurse, primary teacher and private nanny.
My experience in childcare ranges from newborn children to teenagers.
I am married with two daughters 13 and 11 years old.
Being nanny responds to my creative nature, not to mention can be a lot of fun. It allows me to connect to people on a personal level, something I value.
I work for a happy relationship with the families through open communication and daily feedback.
I constantly improve and update my knowledge in childcare and EYFS.
Some of my favourite activities are:
Arts and crafts,messy play, water play, sand play, cooking, baking, building, reading, nature trails or simply going for a walk in the park, visiting places of the kids interests and many more.
Outside of my job I am avid reader and yoga practitioner, and generally enjoy life.
I am available for part time nanny positions: ideally 2-3 full days a week (20-30h) and I am not available for wrap around or after school jobs due to other commitments.
I have my own transport and clean driving licence.

Deanna was great with my kids, and is always reliable and on time. I’ve arrived home while she’s mid story reading at bedtime and she is enthusiastic and engaging with Izzy. No complaints

Deanna has been looking after our 2 years old son since he was 15 months on part time bases. After experiencing 2 different nannies (which my son didn’t get along with) he warmed up to Deanna from the first day thanks to her kind, experienced and professional approach. She knows how to keep him happy and entertained.
The warmth created between her and our son doesn’t make us hesitate to call on her when we need to be away and she has been always receptive and accommodative to our requests and needs.

I and my partner are first time parents and Deanna has been with us on a part time basis since our son was 2 months old. We have no relatives near by so we rely on her support. She is warm, understanding and nonjudgmental. With her knowledge and intuition she helped us with colics, mum's breastfeeding journey, sleep routine, mild illnesses, teething, weaning, food preparation. She knows how to keep a baby happy and occupied and our son loves her. I can't recommend her enough.
