My Summary

My Experience

I have always been passionate about working with children and have experience of working in Social Services, Primary Schools, a Children’s Charity as well as a Nanny. In each of these positions I worked directly with children alongside teachers, health professionals, police, social workers and families.

During my time working as a nanny for two families in Northamptonshire, I enjoyed the opportunity to be creative and imaginative. I encouraged the children to learn about themselves and explore the world through reading, arts and craft activities, role-play, music and everyday activities - much as I have done with my own children. I prepared healthy meals and helped out with household jobs alongside caring for the children.

My training as an art therapist was on the National Children’s In-patient Unit which admits children with severe emotional and behavioural difficulties. The training was challenging but rewarding. This role required me to have patience and consistency in my interactions with the children, along with a good sense of humour.

I have worked as a Learning Support Assistant assistant in several primary schools across Northamptonshire. I enjoyed working with the children individually and in small groups, both in and outside of the classroom.

BA (Hons) Humanities Specialising in Psychology & Art - University of South Glamorgan

My Availability

I am currently working Monday - Thursday in local primary school as a Learning Support Assistant, however I am looking for extra part-time work babysitting and a few extra hours during the school holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)

£12-£14 depending on the number of children
