About Me
My name is Emily Garbett, I am 31 years old & I have been working with children now for 15 years! I am the owner of Little Rainbows Child LTD which is a childcare on domestic setting, and has been opened since 2020.
We are a nursery based within a home, giving the setting a home from home feeling.
I have worked with all ages and also have 3 beautiful little boys of my own and a collie dog who is four and amazing with children.
I have always loved working with children and know this is what I wanted to do since I was little when my auntie was a childminder.
The setting is ran by my two managers who are both level 3 qualified and are currently working towards their level 5 qualification.
All staff are DBS and first aid checked.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 15 years now.
I have worked in many different nurseries and crèches, I have also been a nanny to two different families.
I have good knowledge of the EYFS so can plan activities which are fun for the children but also help their development.
I have worked with all ages from 6weeks to after school children up to 10years.
My managers have also worked in many nurseries with experience of 10 years, working with ages from 6 weeks to 10+ years.
My Qualifications
I have my level 2 and 3 childcare qualification. I qualified my level 2 in 2011 and then qualified my level 3 in 2016 as i went in to nannying in between those years. I have also done my first aid 3 times and I have been on many courses when working in nurseries over the years.
My Managers are both level 3 qualified, who are DBS and first aid checked, and are currently completing their level 5.
All staff are DBS and first aid checked, and are Level 2 or 3 qualified with 2 new staff completing their apprenticeship.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.10 per hour
£5.10 per hour, which include breakfast, snack, hot dinners and a high tea
We offer a minimum of 5 hours a day.

My little boy started here in February 2023 after an incident at his previous nursery. It was really difficult to find somewhere we were happy with and putting our trust in people again, and the staff were really understanding of this and very supportive. My little boy absolutely loves it here, has fully settled in and made wonderful friends. His development has come on leaps and bounds, and the staff communicate everything to us. It has a lovely homely, family, caring vibe which we absolutely love. We can't wait for our other little boy to join him from November.

My little one has been going to little rainbows for almost a year now and I can honestly say this setting has helped not only me but my little girl massively. Her development since starting here has been outstanding, she’s always so happy to go. Whoever answers the door to us in the morning she has a massive smile on her face which is so warming. I get constant updates throughout the day which is so lovely along with pictures. All the girls are so lovely and nothing is ever a problem, all so genuine and happy to help. Can’t recommend this place enough! 🌈 xx

I would 100% recommend Little Rainbows.
The Staff are all very friendly, welcoming and liaise regularly for updates and daily communication.
Also, the setting has really supported my daughter in her learning and has given me comfort knowing my daughter walks into a setting confident, safe and happy.

My daughter has been going to little rainbows for over a year now and she absolutely loves it! The setting is like a home from home and feels more like family and I couldn't be happier with the care!

I sent both my girls and my little one came out crying every week they couldn't tell why could never find my children's stuff when lost staff didn't no if they were coming or going they have taken on too many children to be a childminder!!!!!

My little boy has been with the team for over a year now. From the first day I felt comfortable leaving him with Emily, Emily and the team are always loving and caring to him. I feel as though we've become quite close to the team and always have a good chat when pick him up. His never not wanted to go in and always has a smile on his face when i pick him up. His come on leaps and bounds with them. It great they carry on with what your doing at home e.g potty training. They've listen to what we do at home to ensure he continues while under their care. Iv even kept him in while I'm on maternity which Emily has been amazing working with the change of hours and days when I needed to and having him on sort notice when there been circumstances that I need child care. Theyve know started doing dinners which is even better not worrying about sending him with lunch. They always have good communication using WhatsApp and I love getting photos updates on what his doing.

My 2 year old daughter stays with Emily and team for 3 days every week and is very happy here, her speech and skills have been improving vastly since she started here and she’s developing into a very bright young girl very pleased! X

Emilee has been looking after my children for 6 years now, she is amazing with them, she potty trained my daughter. Fantastic though and through!
