About Me
Hello We are a warm and nuturing home from home setting we provide childminding services for parents in the Cathays/Heath areas, I live very close to Heath Hospital and Cardiff University. We can collect or drop your child to, Fairoak Primary School and Ysgol Mynydd Bychan. I work with another Childminder at my home. .
I offer daily outings, to soft play and parks.
I also provide nutritious snacks. Breakfast, Lunch and an evening snack. Our recent inspection was brilliant and they said our Welsh language and nutritious meals were at the highest standard and hugely beneficial to the children in our setting.
We do crafts, games, music, dancing, play and events in the community. Techniquest, museum, playgroups, parks.
We support children to be school ready.
We support toilet training and have an amazing track record.
We plan and implement the foundation phase.
We run a well organised and planned service.
We are fully registered with CIW
I hold an NVQ level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development. June 2018
Am currently completing Level 4. 2026
We are really experienced and knowledgeable.
I use Welsh and English in my setting.
I am a Welsh learner, at level 3 at present.

£ 15 for After school space.
£6.40 per hour Daily Rate
£55 a full day (9 hours)

We are impressed with the creative and fun activities Debbie does with our 1 year old. It is also great that Debbie uses so much Welsh. And there are lots of opportunities to learn through play. It is a very caring and nurturing environment, which he settled into quickly, and we are very happy to have found such a good childminder.

Debbie is very warm and friendly and obviously has a passion for helping children learn and excel. My daughter has been going to her for almost 2 years and we wouldn't think of taking her to anyone else. She has developed a really good relationship with my little girl and I cannot thank her enough for the certainty that she will be safe and having fun every time I drop her off. She is very involved with the children she looks after, she is such an engaging and reassuring person. The fact that she works so hard to expand my daughter's knowledge is the icing on the cake. The house is clean, and is a smoke and pet-free environment, the food is healthy and her family are lovely.

My first time having my child looked after and Debbie has done an amazing job. She looked after my 5month baby boy as it was her own child and my baby was so happy. As this was my first time I was so nervous and afraid but after this I would be more than happy leaving my baby with Debbie, she done an excellent job and kept me updated with messages and pictures througout the day. This left me happy and rest assured and not worried on how my baby boy would be. Debbie was so welcoming and friendly that my baby didnt even miss me ;) Im so gratefull and cannot wait to see Debbie again.
