About Me
Hi my name is Kerry, I have my level 3 qualification in early years and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2011. I am located on the Oakdale/Fernhurst Farm estate, 2 minutes from Junction 4 of the M65 motorway. I live with my partner and 2 of my 4 children who are all DBS checked; I also have 2 granddaughters who are 5 and 1 year old. My daughter is 28 and my registered assistant, she has a primary school teaching degree and her level 3 in early years.
I have a dedicated extension on my home from which I work. It offers free flow into my all weather artificial grass garden. In the garden we have all of the same activities as indoors such as an outdoor easel, sandpit, waterplay, also a two tier play house and obstacle course with bikes/scooters.
We have a 7 seater and a 5 seater car which are business insured and all children are provided with age appropriate seats. We go to playgroups twice a week so that the children can experience being with bigger groups of children. We also visit play centres, farms, beaches and aquariums etc when the weather allows. These trips aren't happening at the moment due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
My Experience
I have raised 4 children of my own whilst working full time (12hr shifts) so I fully understand how hard it is to find the right kind of childcare to fit in with your needs. I have been childminding since 2011.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered, NVQ3 in childcare development, DBS checked, Paediatric first aid, Food hygiene level 1&2.
I also regularly do courses to keep up to date with guidance and EYFS changes.
My Availability

School holiday cover
I take 2,3 & 4 year old funding, tax free childcare and also vouchers where possible.
Times are: 8am - 5.30pm (negotiable hours)

Been to visit kerryskidz this evening. We're impressed with what we saw she has adapted her back room to a nice playroom work toys etc. although I'm panicking an worried sick about going back to work and leaving my little baby boy . I know that he will be fine there. I'm pretty positive I'll be able to work with ease. my four year old will be joining the baby in the school
Holidays !! I'm currently filling out the paperwork and I'm more than satisfied with the policy's that Kerry Kidz have !!
