About Me

Hi, my name is Fran and I am a qualified, OFSTED registered nanny with a 20+ year career caring for children of a wide range of ages with a variety of personalities and needs. I am originally from Oxfordshire but I have lived in Gloucester for 24 years with my husband of 20 years. In my spare time I like to read, cook, run, and knit.

I believe that I have some excellent qualities that will help me to care for your children. I am reliable, adaptable, trustworthy, and kind. I am also patient and relaxed, but am able to discipline the children in a consistent and fair fashion. I also have a sense of humour, an essential quality when looking after children. I also share my own interests with the children and take an active role in helping them pursue theirs. I enjoy the fact my job is always slightly different every day depending on the moods and personalities of the children.

Fran is a wonderful nanny, she is very organised and calm amongst the chaos of family life. She is very aware of each child’s individual needs and moods and manages their behaviour appropriately. Fran is very conscientious and reliable and manages to keep our house in great working order!

Fran has been with us for 9 months now and we are so glad she chose to come and work with us as our little boys (2.5 years) nanny. Frans experience and qualifications mean that our Son’s days with her are constructive, age appropriate and filled with fun. Communication with Fran is easy and she is always respectful of our wishes. We would thoroughly recommend Fran to a family looking for a nanny.

Fran is our nanny at the moment and supports our family with my son (6) and twin girls (22mths) Fran has worked with us since the girls were 9 mths and my husband I both feel very fortunate to have her working with us. Fran takes our lead with the way we are with our children and is kind, playful, supportive and knowledgable. It was clear when we met her she had vast experience and this really helps her manage any challenges. I would thoroughly recommend meeting and employing Fran, we haven’t looked back!
