I'm offering personalised, engaging and supportive tuition for primary-aged children, tailored to their individual learning needs and abilities. Whether your child needs help building confidence, closing gaps in their understanding, preparing for SATs or extending their learning, my sessions are designed to make progress enjoyable and achievable. With a creative, patient and nurturing approach, I aim to help every child develop independence, strengthen their skills and discover a genuine love of learning.
My Experience
I am a passionate, dynamic and highly experienced educator with over 14 years of experience working across both primary and secondary education, having begun my career in education in 2012 and qualified as a teacher in 2015.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a diverse range of educational settings, including mainstream primary and secondary schools, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and alternative education provisions. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the varied academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs of children and young people, enabling me to adapt my teaching to support learners from all backgrounds and abilities.
I have also held several curriculum leadership positions, including English, PSHE, and Equality and Diversity, further strengthening my expertise in curriculum development, inclusive teaching and raising educational standards.
Alongside my classroom experience, I have provided private tuition for many years, supporting pupils with SATs preparation, curriculum consolidation, closing learning gaps and building academic confidence.
My teaching philosophy centres on the belief that every child can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities. I pride myself on delivering creative, engaging, and personalised learning experiences that remove barriers, inspire curiosity, and build independence.
Above all, I am committed to helping children not only achieve their academic potential but also develop the confidence, resilience and love of learning that will serve them throughout their educational journey.
My Qualifications
11 A-C GCSE’s including Maths, English & Music
3 A-C A Levels performance arts, English Langue Reigious studies
2:1 BA Hons Theatre Practice: Performance Arts
PGCE Masters primary education
My Availability
I am available weekday evenings and Saturday mornings but can be flexible to accommodate your requirements.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
£35 per hour age 4-9
£40 per hour aged 10-11 (SATs preparation)
