Dear Parents!
My name is Leah, I am 32 years old and I live in Lower Morden. I am a mum to a one year old boy and a two and a half year old girl.
I am a friendly, polite and punctual individual with a great deal of experience and interest in children and their development. I am looking for a family to share my skills and abilities with, on a one to one basis.
I am fun, confident, imaginative and proactive, with experience working with babies, toddlers and young children. I love dancing, reading and exploring the outdoor world, which held many learning opportunities for the children I have looked after.
I do not hold a drivers licence.
My Experience
School experience:
From 2013 to the beginning of 2016 I worked as a teaching assistant in the Early Years and Key Stage one stage. I have experience planning and implementing lesson plans based on the EYFS, national curriculum and on children's interests.
Nursery experience:
I was deputy nursery manager and preschool room leader of a nursery catering for children aged 1-5 years. My duties consist of modelling appropriate social behaviour, carrying out care routines, providing a safe, stimulating and clean environment and regular babysitting/nannying services to parents.
Nannying experience:
I began my nannying career working evenings and weekends as mothers help for a mother with a new born baby. I provided support in preparing/cleaning bottles as well as helping support the weaning stage. On weekends I completed household tasks consisting of ironing, laundry, preparing meals, running errands and accompanying events for additional help.
For two and a half years I worked with a wonderful family of four, helping the children meet their development milestones such as weaning and potty training and helping the eldest child with his transition to Primary school. I undertook all child related tasks for example, laundry, cooking healthy meals and planning activities for after school and holidays. I then continued nannying for a family of five, three boys under the age of six.
My next role was for two boys under the age of two, carrying out all care routines and household activities. I then left nannying due to starting my own family, during this time I became a childminder.

I am available most evenings and weekends. During the week I have my two little children, if you are happy with them tagging along I am available.
My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
