Part Time Nanny Job In Vale Of White Horse
About Me
We are a lively, fun and busy family of five in search of an after school nanny for 4 days per week from September 2023. The requirement is for term time only in the first instance.
Mum is a Consultant at the John Radcliffe and Dad is a teacher at a school in Radley, near Abingdon. We live in Radley.
We have a 16 month old baby boy, 6 yr old girl and 8 yr old boy.
Our 6 yo daughter attends the local primary school - a 3 minute walk from our house. Our baby has other childcare arrangements during the day, until 3pm.
Our 8 yo boy goes to school in Oxford and usually has commitments after school each day.
My Requirements
We are looking for a fun and energetic nanny to look after our 3 children from approx 3pm to 6.15pm - exact timings can be negotiated.
The nanny would need to collect our 6 yo girl from school and at the same time take over care of our 16month old baby boy. The school is a very short walk from home. We would then like the nanny to look after the children, prepare and give them supper and take them to and from any after school activities. Our daughter loves to be creative, dance, sing, draw and chat. She is full of love and loves to help look after her baby brother.
Our 8 year old boy goes to school in Oxford and has commitments after school most days so there will be little to do for him generally except very occasionally collecting him from school when no one else is able to!
We would need the nanny to drive but could I sure them on one of our cars.
Availability for occasional evening babysitting would be desirable.
Essential criteria:
Ofsted registration
Paediatric First Aid/Life Support qualification
DBS/CRB up to date
Driving license
We will ensure scrupulous management of Nanny Tax, National Insurance and Pension Contributions as appropriate.
Salary negotiable: £12- £16 per hour (gross), according to experience and capabilities.
