About Me
Hi, my name is Pavlina. I'm originally Czech but moved to London seventeen years ago. I'm now completely fluent in English!
I am a nanny with over twenty years experience. I am very capable with children of all ages.
Like most people I feel rewarded when children enjoy their time with me so I make it a priority to keep them carefully stimulated.
I bring games, I take them outdoors for walks and playgrounds (if they are old enough) I read with them and listen to their stories while sharing a few of my own.
I think that there are many opportunities to guide a child's behaviour, to help them see things from a new perspective and to be more independent so that they are not so easily bored.
I am a person with a background in art and now I run my own part time business designing patterns for fabrics.
I am able to guide children through art and craft projects.
I like to be physically active with things such as yoga, walking, weightlifting, swimming, trekking and more. Naturally I like to encourage children to be active if they can.
I am keen to live a healthy lifestyle so enjoy healthy foods, although I don't tend to follow recipes I have a good grounding in nutrition.
My Experience
I am experienced in looking after children of all ages including newborns, over twenty years experience.
I am currently looking after a 3 months old baby on sole charge basis.
I've also looked after children from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
I've helped children through all stages of development. For example I looked after one boy from newborn to school age and I still babysit him from time to time.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
My minimum charge is £55 per one session.
If the job is a distance from available public transport, such as late at night, I would expect a taxi to be arranged and paid for.
I would charge a little more for groups of more than two children.

She has been amazing with our baby boy. He loves being with her. She has looked after him since summer 2023. She is always punctual. She has lots of activities planned. Also had some great advice on baby toys and playmats. She takes him out for long walks so he gets fresh air. She always sends an update on his feeds and naps. He is so happy to be with her. Highly recommend.

Pavlina has been looking after Alice, my 9 month old for the last 4 months now and we couldn't be happier with her. She is reliable, punctual, trustworthy and conscientious. Alice loves her and when she catches sight of her she starts flapping her arms in excitement! They have a very strong bond.
Her responsibilities have included sole charge of Alice; changing, feeding, dressing her; taking her out for walks or to activities and playing with her. She has also proved an invaluable source of information on weaning, nap times and so on, as she has had so much experience. This has been really helpful to me as a first time mum.
I would highly recommend her for any childcare position.

This is to recommend Pavlína Jirankova for the position of nanny. Pavlína started working for us in January 2018 to March 2018 look after our younger, two year old son for 30 hours per week (3 days). He has had a history of complex reflux since birth and needed additional care around feeding, medications etc. Pavlína was quick to learn his routine and to manage his medications and feeding. She has been very good with him and our little one warmed to her quickly and got on really well with her. Pavlína took him to local play centres and playgrounds, did a lot of reading, Lego and other activities. She also occasionally picked up our older son aged 8 from school and looked after both boys until I got back from work. Both the boys really like her which has been very reassuring. She always tidied up and kept things in order at the end of the day.
Since the younger one started nursery Pavlína worked as after school nanny and occasionally baby-sits for us from time to time. We really get on well with her as she is very polite and adaptable. Apart from being good with children and thinking on her feet, she is very reliable, honest, sincere and hardworking. We would definitely recommend her and wish her all the best for the future.

Pavlina started looking after my son when he was 11 months old, and he is just over two now. Pavlina was a full time sole carer for my son prior to him joining nursery. Pavlina continues to work for us ad-hoc mornings and babysitting as and when she is available.
Pavlina would arrive very early in order for me to leave for work, she would get my son ready, prepare all his meals for the day, put him to sleep and care for him throughout the day. Pavlina would also help with household jobs for my son. Pavlina would take my son to classes, she would adapt and find new exciting things to do if the weather didn’t permit.
Pavlina is exceptionally caring, extremely patient and very gentle and kind natured. She has been a big part of my son’s life, she has cared for him when he has been unwell, she has helped us a lot when we have needed an extra pair of hands at short notice. My son’s face always lights up when he sees Pavlina no matter how long it has been, she focuses solely on the child she is looking after, they have a lot of fun doing arts and crafts, going for nice walks, the library, and reading books. Pavlina is always punctual, reliable and completely trustworthy. Pavlina has also been great at instilling discipline in a kind manner with my son approaching the age of 2. She is extremely adaptable to all situations. I would highly recommend Pavlina, she has been an absolute blessing to our family.
