My Summary
About Me
Hi I have been childminding since 2005 and live on the Horringer Court Estate in Bury St Edmunds. I am a very social childminder and we regularly attend childminding groups, toddler groups, local parks and activity centre. We also venture further afield, in the school holidays, and go to the beach and local farms and zoos.
I have plenty of play opportunities at home with lots of toys and outside play. We also enjoy arts and crafts and baking within the setting.
My Experience
The most important experience I have is the experience of being a mother, however, I have been childminding for just over 20 years and have looked after children from birth onwards. All children have different needs and I have the utmost respect for all the children that I care for.
I am able to provide Government Funded sessions for 9 month plus, 2 year and 3/4 year olds
My Qualifications
I have completed all the necessary training required to be a childminder ie. first aid, safeguarding children and more. (I was a fully trained first aider for over 10 years in my previous role working in a Bank).
NVQ 3 qualified in Early Years and Childcare
NVQ 4 qualified in Early Years and Childcare.
Foundation Degree in Early Years and Childcare.
Currently studying Speech and Language in the Early Years

My hours of work are between 8am til 5.30pm (Monday to Thursday. Until 3.30 on Friday). Please contact me if you require before or after my stated start times as I am happy to consider other times.
