About Me

Hello, my name is Catherine.
I'm a friendly, down to earth & creative individual with a love for Literature, languages, music, yoga, cycling & being active.
I've worked in the Education sector for 7 years as Learning Support and Teaching Assistant.
Currently, I work 1 to 1 with Autistic teenagers/young adults in the community.
I am flexible with hours and available for work immediately.
I have a DBS certificate.

My Experience

I am currently working as a PA and Carer for an Autistic teenager. 1-to-1.

My experience includes:

5 years in primary schools (both English and Welsh medium) across South Wales.

Registered with a number of teaching agencies.

Working 1-to-1 with children, with additional needs. With specific emphasis on: ADHD, Autism.

I have tutored English as a foreign language to Catalonian children.

Private tutor in Wales, specialism is English Literature/Language.

My Qualifications

BA (with Honours): English Literature

2009-2012: 2:1

Experienced Teaching Assistant:
Overseas and in Wales.
Including: Nursery, Early Years, Key stages 2-3, ESOL and adult.

Fluent Welsh speaker and can help your child with Welsh language learning.
