My Requirements
Our core values are of kindness, a love of exploration and respect for nature. We are looking for a bit of an all-rounder who can plan fun things for the kids to do after school whilst supporting around the house. We live on a small farm so a bonus if you like horses, chickens, gardening and generally getting outside. Our eldest is bright and sensitive. He is so aware and insightful that teachers love him but he hates attention on him. His little brother is more dreamy and creative. A very sweet soul with a great sense of humour. Two boys together are great fun but they do require a lot of energy! We also have neurodivergence in the family, so looking for someone who feels comfortable with this dynamic and understands sensory overwhelm and the intense likes and dislikes that come with these very special brains. Minecraft, art, science experiments, digging for treasure, football and cricket in the field are our current favourites.
On my end, I am looking for someone who can share the load now that I am going back to full time work at an environmental charity. Things like preparing healthy meals (for fussy eaters), organising and tidying toys, unpacking the dishwasher etc. We hope to find someone calm and with a big heart who can join us in enjoying this slice of paradise on the side of a mountain.
Looking for an hour in the afternoon for housekeeping (we have a separate cleaner but the clutter of active boys needs managing!) then picking up kids from school until around 6pm, 2-3 times a week. Ideally some occasional evening and weekend babysitting too. Days and times flexible
