About Me
My name is Sandra and I provide a home from home childcare service for children aged 3 months to school age.
I have 3 children of my own and am currently working towards a early years degree and on to early years teacher status.
My setting includes a large dedicated playroom and garden, children have access to a range of activities and resources inside and out,designed to grow and inspire their natural wonder and awe of the world around them.
I have an assistant which enables me to work with slightly larger groups of children, which further promotes children's social development whilst maintaining low adult to child ratios.

My Experience
I have been Childminding for 6 years and prior to that was an assistant to a childminder.
I have a early years degree and am currently studying the BA Honors with view to qualifying as a early years teacher.

Shining Stars is just the most amazing care for your children. My daughter has been going to Sandra since early this year and my daughter is so happy there. Sandra and Emily are just lovely and they consistently go out of their way to care for each child individually, plus supporting the parents in whatever way they can.
The children are always outdoors on walks, allotment etc whatever the weather so never expect a tidy child at the end of the day! What you do get is a happy, fulfilled and adventurous child always keen to learn more.
My daughter has learnt so much with Sandra as all her crafts and games encourage learning through play.
I could go on and on, Sandra and Emily are the best! We'll be sad leave later next year when my daughter starts school. They both deserve more recognition ☺️
