My Experience

I have completed placements in schools, nurseries and children centres during my training. I have first aid and food hygiene certificates. My time at the nursery has meant planning activities for groups of children and documenting their learning through observations and creating learning journeys for each child. Working at the after school club means that I have to make sure policies and procedures are adhered to and that all children are enjoying and involved throughout the session, planning activities around their needs and themes they are learning at school. The last three years I have worked as a nanny for a family of 3 children. This included preparing meals for the children, supervising the children all year round including holidays. Planning activities and days out for the children that are age appropriate. I also ensure the children’s bedrooms and play room are clean and tidy and complete all the children’s washing. I am DBS update and have first aid.
