My Experience

I have experience of new born babies and older children too. I qualified as a nanny at the age of 18 and have continued to build on my professional knowledge with the addition of children and families work related courses and learning though out my working life.
Since 1990 I have worked for families here in Cardiff, London and Brussels. I also worked for 4 years as a Nursery Nurse and Deputy Manager for a local Daycare provider and I have been an approved Kinship carer. I have gained a wealth of experience and consider myself to be equipped and ready to step into any role.
I have Emergency Peadiatric First Aid training including up to date knowledge of Epipen procedures and first hand experience of children with allergies, anaphylaxis, asthma and eczema.
I have DBS checks for organisations that I volunteer for.

My Availability

I am a self employed freelance Nanny offering ad hock and bespoke child care cover.

I offer evening babysitting, weekdays and weekends, over nights and 24hr covers. I can provide on-call cover, one-off days if you have an appointment or event to go to or ad hoc proxy parenting if you have work travel commitments or indeed, just planning a little time away.

I can step in as a temporary nanny should your own Nanny call in sick, or if they are on Annual Leave or Maternity Leave.

I am also open to a part time employed position as Nanny, working 1, 2 or 3 days a week.
