About Me

My name is Nikki Evans, I have been childminding for 10 years now. I live with my husband and 2 children, ages 8 & 10.
I aim to provide a home from home environment, somewhere comfortable, safe and fun. I provide plenty of learning and play opportunities to keep the little ones engaged and stimulated.
We use the whole of downstairs while childminding and my back garden. The children all love our garden, which is quite big with plenty of equipment to keep the little ones entertained.
We don’t stay in all the time, we enjoy getting out on a regular basis. We enjoy going to playgroups, parks, wheelgate & play dates.
I offer places from 6 months - 3/3.5 years old.
Government funded accepted. I am happy to stretch funding to cover school holidays. I am also happy to offer term time only place.

Part time space available from September 2026.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £17.50 per hour

Nikki has looked after both my children over the last few years and I can't recommend her enough! I always had complete peace of mind that my children were in the best care and they always had plenty to tell me about their day!
Nikki goes out every day to play groups and activities, provides healthy food and plenty of activities at home, like mud kitchens, messy play etc. Nikki was always sensitive to our needs - one of my children has allergies and Nikki worked to ensure his needs were met. We never had any issues.
Reliable, fun, and a lovely person too. Highly recommend!

Nikki is a lovely, caring, compassionate and overall brilliant childminder.
She is very conscientious, always checking if both of our girls needed anything and going out her way to ensure she tied in her activities at home with what school were working towards.
Her setting is lovely, always clean, and both our girls loved to come to her house every morning. She always made a variety of meals, ensuring our children had a choice of what they liked.
Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, we had to stop using her services, but we would not hesitate to contact her again if we needed childcare in the future.
