About Me
Hi my name is karen and I've worked with children for over 30 years. I trained in college for 2yrs and then worked in the nursery at St George's hospital. I then went on to be a nanny for about 10years which I enjoyed but only became a childminder as the kids I was looking after where going off to school so became a childminder so I could still take care of them. I enjoy my job and love to become part of the kids family and work together.
My Experience
I've worked with many families over the past 30yrs working as a nanny and a childminder with new born to 10 year old. I still keep in contact with most of the kids I've looked after over the years and even seen one get married. It has been a joy watching them grow into adults.
My Qualifications
I did 2 years at collage training childcare children 3 months -11 years. Worked 2 years at St George's hospital nursery then went on to become a nanny then a childminder over 30 years experience with children under 11 years .

Karen is absolutely amazing! She does both school pick-ups and drop-offs for my son, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better childminder. My little one loves going to Karen’s, he’s always excited to play with the other children, and it’s clear how much fun and care she puts into creating a warm, friendly environment.
All the teachers and parents at school know her and only ever have great things to say, which says a lot about how loved and trusted she is in the community. My son has allergies and asthma, and Karen has been incredible with managing his needs so attentive, reassuring, and responsible. I’m beyond grateful to have found her. Truly a five-star childminder!
