About Me

I am a Registered Childminder.
Look me up at Puddleducks nursery Windermere.

I have over 20 years of experience of working with children in different contexts and settings.

I aim to provide a holistic space for children to grow. Early years is my speciality.

I have 2 children of my own, they are 13 and 17, I have a lovely and friendly cat who is very used to children.

We have a car and business insurance and we love days out

We attend local toddler groups and the local library regularly.

I can offer wrap around care on a limited basis.

Latest Inspection Report Card

14 July 2026
Exceptional 0 categories
Strong standard 0 categories
Expected standard 6 categories
Needs attention 0 categories
Urgent improvement 0 categories
Safeguarding standards met
This childminder meets the expected standard across all six inspected areas, with safeguarding standards fully met. Children build warm, secure relationships and benefit from inclusive practice, good communication with families, and support for those with additional needs, alongside regular outings to playgroups, libraries and parks. However, inspectors noted that hygiene routines do not always consistently support younger, crawling babies, and during group activities teaching is not always closely matched to children's differing ages, meaning learning can be more incidental than planned. Overall, children are safe, happy and make steady progress, though there is room to strengthen consistency in health routines and curriculum delivery.
