My Summary
About Me
AVAILABLE FROM SEPTEMBER – LIVE-OUT NANNY
Areas: W6, W3, W4, W12 (up to 30-minute commute)
Hello families,
My name is Bawy, I am Italian, and I am seeking a live-out nanny position with a friendly, respectful, and open-minded family.
I am an experienced, caring, and child-centred nanny with a strong focus on supporting children’s independence, self-awareness, and emotional development. I believe every child is unique, and I take great care in recognising their individual inclinations, talents, and interests, helping them grow in confidence and discover their full potential at their own pace.
I naturally encourage children to develop autonomy, emotional intelligence, and self-confidence, while maintaining clear routines and a calm, safe environment where children feel secure and empowered.
I am coming to the end of a four-year long-term commitment with a wonderful family, built on trust, consistency, and mutual respect. I am now seeking a new position that allows for a balanced and stable arrangement, bringing with me a deep understanding of parents’ concerns, priorities, and the importance of reliable, thoughtful care. This perspective enables me to be especially attentive, reassuring, and responsive to both children’s and parents’ needs.
I have experience with children of different ages, with a special love for babies and toddlers. I am proactive, playful, patient, reliable, and flexible, a non-smoker, and well organised. I value open communication with parents and can provide excellent references in both English and Italian.
I enjoy being active and exploring with children — parks, libraries, children’s centres, museums, exhibitions, and playdates. I am highly creative and love arts and crafts, DIY projects using recycled materials, and hands-on learning that stimulates curiosity and critical thinking.
With a background in History of Art, I bring a strong appreciation for art, science, and culture, which I enjoy sharing with children in an engaging, age-appropriate way. My hobbies include photography, cooking, gardening, and the arts, all of which naturally enrich daily activities.
I am a polite, honest, tidy, and well-organised person, committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children feel respected, confident, and supported in becoming independent individuals. I have recently decided to make London my home and am looking for a long-term position with the right family.
I look forward to meeting a family who values kindness, creativity, emotional intelligence, and personal growth.
My Experience
I am a dedicated and experienced nanny with over 10 years of working with families of diverse backgrounds, including Italian, British-Chinese, American, German, and Arabic-American households. I have cared for children from newborns to teenagers, including children with special needs.
I have extensive live-in and full-time experience, including:
Caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children (ages 0–13).
Providing after-school care, tutoring, and engaging activities.
Supporting families with multiple children and different cultural backgrounds.

Bawy has been working for us since September 2022, looking after our 2 year old and 5 year old. By now she’s an integral part of our family. As someone who’s responsible for looking after our children during the majority of the week, we have complete confidence in her providing both safety and well-being for our children.
Bawy is trustworthy, and she is very well brought up, responsible and caring. She genuinely cares about our children's development and provides valuable feedback about behaviour, progress and friendship! Bawy also fills the creative hole in our family: she does lots of outdoor activities as well as indoor creative activities that we’d never think of doing, really enriching our children’s lives.
I'll repeat one of the references I received for Bawy at the time she started with us: “you’ll be so lucky to have her in your family”. The fact that she’s in touch with all her previous families is a testemant to her value.

Bawy stayed with us as a night nanny and she was great - respectful, friendly and most importantly she was excellent with our 1 month old baby boy. We could see from the first moment that she genuinely loves children.

Bawy helped me with my first separation experience with my 6 months old daughter. After a year of lockdown, this being my first child and with no family members around it was a little bit of a scary transition for me and surely very intense for our family in general. Bawy joined our family routines and progresses in a very gentler and empathetic way. She is very honest and it committed to continuous and mutual feedback. Bawy really helped me with my mum-specific fears but also connected greatly with my partner and work with us to keep progressing with our baby becoming more independent. In few weeks Bawy became a family member and my daughter trusted her and loved spending time with her, going out to the park, socialising with other babies and playing with Bawy. I also loved that Bawy is very conscious of the environment, creative in the way she feeds babies' development with no need to spend extra money on toys but just playing with everyday objects. Bawy is also experienced in babies nutrition and we had useful conversations around it as I just started the weaning when she joined us. My daughter is now going to nursery full time but I would love to keep working with Bawy even for occasional baby sitting and I would strongly recommend her as a nanny.
