About Me

* Searching for a new PART TIME Nanny/ Household PA/ Family Assistant role *
(Can be one position or would consider a few families/ households if the fit were to be right)

I'm a career nanny, Parent PA, Family Assistant. Traditionally a Nanny with 35+ years of qualified experience although my roles have morphed into more Nanny Housekeeper/Family Assistant roles as I've matured and grown older.

Originally from Buckinghamshire, we moved up to Herefordshire in 2021. I love the countryside and the slower pace of life. Happily married to Simon, we have two daughters who live down south. Both professional girls doing very well.

My last nanny position down south finished in April 2021, just before we re-located. I'd been with the family for 4 years and I loved them. My references go back to the 80s - they read like a book! I've worked in formal households and very relaxed informal homes. I spent 3 years in Switzerland as a governess in the early 90s and was lucky enough to travel the world with them. I've always got on well with all my bosses, and I pride myself on that.

I have a rolling DBS so I'm happy to give out the ID number so parents can check that I have no convictions. I can drive, and do not smoke. I’m paediatric first aid trained and have numerous foster care training certificates.

I have recently worked as a nanny housekeeper locally and leave on good terms.

Prior to that we were fostering a gorgeous little two year old whom we had in our home for two years. He has finally gone to his forever family and he leaves with our love. We're thrilled for him and his new parents and we see him regularly.

I’m open to suggestions for PART TIME work so please don’t be afraid to ask. Can either be one role in its entirety, or numerous roles that slot together over the course of a week.

Here's just some of the things I'm very happy to do though.

-Childcare, maternity, newborn to teenagers.
-Menu planning, food grocery shop, and cooking family meals. Happy to batch cook.
-Laundry and ironing (I ran an ironing business so actually enjoy this part of household work)
-Driving, school runs, etc
-Tidying, organising, sorting, helping run the day to day needs of a home.
-Liaising with schools, playdate friends, tradesmen, household staff.
-Being a PA to a busy parent - sourcing holidays, online shopping, booking appointments.
-Light housekeeping *PLEASE NOTE I'M NOT A CLEANER*
-Running errands.

Happy to drive up to 40 mins away from Pembridge and do collections from schools - state, or private. That said, I’m also open to driving further to stay over for a night or two a week / or to be a proxy parent? My main focus to finding a family/ families where the "fit" feels right and where I can feel happy, valued, and stay long term.
