About Me

I've loved and cared for little ones for over three decades now, so I'm different in the sense that I'm not your usual nanny looking for lots of hours. I only want part time work nowadays and am more than happy to have a handful of families that I work for instead of just one. I'm truly open to suggestions so please don't feel you can't ask me.

I'm a qualified nanny and am very happy to be a "traditional" sole charge nanny (if that's what's needed) BUT I am also very open to working alongside a busy Mum/Dad who just needs an extra pair of hands (or a rest!)

Originally from Buckinghamshire, we moved up to the Midlands in 2021. I love the countryside and the slower pace of life. I have recently left a nanny/ family assistant job in Lingen, Herefordshire - and leave on good terms. Reference and phone number available.

Prior to that we were fostering a gorgeous little two year old whom we had in our home for two whole years. He has finally gone to his forever family and we see him often. My last full time nanny position down south, finished in April 2021, just before we re-located to Herefordshire. I'd been with the family for 4 years and I loved them.

My references read like a book! Over the decades I've worked in some very formal households (some abroad) and some very relaxed homes. I've enjoyed both.

I have a rolling DBS and no convictions. I can drive, and do not smoke. I’m paediatric first aid trained.

Here are just some of the things I'm very happy to do (age of child dependent, and whether a parent is at home etc)
-Childcare, maternity, newborn to teenagers.
-Food grocery shop, and cooking family meals. Happy to batch cook.
-Laundry and ironing (I ran an ironing business so actually enjoy this part of household work)
-School runs.
-Tidying, organising, sorting, helping run the day to day needs of a home.
-Being a PA to a professional family, or helping a busy stay at home parent to hold the fort.
-Running errands.
-Light housekeeping - please note, I am not a cleaner.
-If I am available, I'm open to doing proxy parenting if parents need to work away from home.
