About Me
My name is Rita. I am 43 years old and a mum of two children – one is 2 years old and the other is 24. I live with my husband and our friendly cat in a lovely house with a large garden, where children can play outside every day. The garden has slides and lots of fun activities for children to enjoy.
I work together with my assistant – my sister – and we create a warm, family atmosphere where children feel happy, safe, and loved. I speak English, Russian, a little Latvian and a little Polish, which helps me communicate with children and families from different backgrounds.
I have been a registered childminder since 2016 and I love supporting children as they grow, learn, and develop their confidence. I provide a caring environment with homemade healthy meals and plenty of opportunities for play, exploration, and outdoor fun.
My Experience
I am a fully registered and experienced childminder. I have cared for children from 10 months old and up, supporting them as they grow and develop through play and learning.
Together with my assistant – my sister – we are registered to care for up to 9 children, including 6 children under 5 years old. We work as a team to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for every child.
I recently completed my SVQ Level 3 (SCQF Level 7) in Childcare and Young People, which helped me strengthen my knowledge and skills in child development, wellbeing, and early learning.
I always aim to create a warm and supportive space where children feel confident, happy, and ready to explore the world around them.
My Qualifications
I have full driving license, Child Protection, Infection control, Elementary Food Hygiene, Firs Aid, Infection control,SVQ 3 Level 7 childcare and young people
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday, from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm, and I can offer care until 8:00 pm if needed.
I provide a drop-off and pick-up service in Arbroath and Forfar. I also do school runs from Hayshead Primary School and Warddykes Primary School in Arbroath.

Rita is absolutley amazing!!
She goes above and beyond without a seocond thought for all the children in her care. Takes them out and about daily to many different places and when at home does really good activities with the children including home cooking, crafts and more. Great communication and daily updates of what your little ones have been up to and where they have visited. Our little girl came on so much from been with her and adored her. Such a kind and gentle nature. Gutted we moved, wish we could have moved her with us!!
