My Experience

I am currently manager at a day nursery. I was previously a FT nanny for two boys ages nearly 2 and 4.
My duties include:
Getting children dressed
Preparing and supervising meals
Taking children on outings and groups
Arranging play dates
Setting boundaries and discipline
Toilet training
Doing stimulating activities
Bath time
Bed time rountine

Full time manager in a day nursery where I received good OFSTED rating.
I have 14 years experiences with working with 1-5 years old, in a nursery environment.
My role has included
Planning and supervising activities (age and stage appropriate)
Prepared and served meals
Attended staff meetings and training
Provided children with positive reinforcement
Provided first aid treatment as necessary
Maintained order, security and sanitation of the facility
Supervised children in everyday jobs
Maintained complete and accurate daily records
Implemented behavior modification techniques as instructed

Diploma in childcare and education - level 3
First aid trained - level 3
Senco trained
Child protection- level 2
