My Summary
About Me
Hello, I'm Michelle and thank you for viewing my profile. I am a warm, reliable and highly experienced nanny with over 20 years of childcare experience. I began my career working in a nursery, progressing from practitioner to manager, gaining strong knowledge of early years practice, safeguarding, and child development. I later moved into nannying where I can offer personalised, one-to-one care and build long-lasting relationships with families.
I am currently working as a temporary nanny, covering maternity leave until 24th April, caring for three children. My day-to-day responsibilities include:
Preparing healthy meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
School drop-offs and pick-ups
Helping the older children with homework
Taking the children to clubs and after-school activities
Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and days out for the youngest child
Before this, I spent just under three years in a nanny share, caring for two children aged one and three. This role included:
Toilet training
Regular outings to parks, farms, libraries and playgroups
Planning activities suited to each child’s age and developmental stage
Supporting their confidence, communication and independence
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, have a full UK driving licence, and I am confident driving children to school, clubs and outings.
I also have excellent references from previous families, which I am very happy to provide on request.
I am available for a full-time nanny position from 27th April 2026.
If you are looking for an experienced, caring and dependable nanny who creates a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children, I would love to hear from you.
