Hi there!
Irish nanny and mother of a 9 year old boy here. I have been nannying in North London for the last 11 years. My career and passion has always been with children. Before I became a nanny, I was a teaching and special needs assistant in primary schools for about 3 years and was a nursery nurse for 3 years. I enjoy caring for and teaching children. My experience has mostly been with the ages 0-7y. I'm a very hard worker, I go above and beyond for the families I work for. I am responsible, super organised, patient and most of all fun. I like to bake, be outdoors in nature, read, play tennis, and swim.
I will be finishing up my 3.5 year nanny role in late October and will be searching for a new family in Barnet to work for. Please message me if you're interested in having a chat about a role.

Deirdre or Dee Dee as my girls call her is a true gem. We've worked with her for a few years now and we couldn't be without her.
She always crafts a varied and rich itinerary for the day and is also mindful of the different stages of development my girls are at and what will help stimulate, benefit them the most.
She visits the library with the girls each week and always makes sure to factor in time outside visiting different parks and venues to keep things varied.
Dee is totally focused in making sure the girls have a great day when she comes and I trust her implicitly.
She always puts together nice healthy lunches and does cool things during the day (like play-dough, role play, phonics, reading, baking or craft).
She is tidy, thorough and incredibly helpful when it comes to the laundry that needs attention.

Deirdre cared for our son two days a week for some months. Timing made it impossible for us to continue to work together but we were sorry to see her go. Dedicated, punctual, responsible, down to earth. She has a real ease around children that leaves you sure your little one is in good hands.
