My Requirements

We are seeking a reliable, highly organised, and proactive Housekeeper / Household Assistant to help keep our busy home running smoothly. This role requires someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership of household tasks, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization. Looking for somebody long term to join us.

Key Responsibilities
Indoor & Outdoor House Care: Detailed cleaning of the house, washing windows, deep cleaning, and keeping outdoor entryways tidy.

Cleaning, laundry and ironing

Organisation: Keeping cupboards, wardrobes, and living spaces organized and clutter-free.

Errands & Wardrobe Care: Managing dry cleaning drop-offs/collections and running other local errands as required.

Stock Management: Proactively maintaining a running inventory/list of cleaning products and household supplies needed, ensuring we never run out.

Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertaking general household tasks as they arise to keep the home functioning efficiently.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Proven track record in a similar housekeeping role.

Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check is essential.

References: Excellent, verifiable references from previous employers.

Child Friendly: Occasional, warm interaction with children (age 7 & 9) in the home (no formal childcare or sole-charge babysitting required).

Pet Friendly: Must be comfortable around animals (we have a friendly pet hamster).

Attributes: Highly reliable, self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage your own daily task list.
