About Me
Hi!
My name is Bex, and I'm looking for a full-time nanny position, ideally live-out in Plymouth.
I am 32 years old and have over 10 years of experience working with children, ranging from 1 to 16. I am available ASAP and am a British citizen.
I grew up in Cornwall, so I am extremely active and outgoing. I love to surf, paint, hit the beach, ski, swim or do anything outdoorsy! I love being outside as much as possible and enjoy cooking (I am very health-conscious, so I would love to work for a family that also values healthy living)!
I am seeking a short-term role for 5 months, as I will be starting a job in June and therefore cannot commit to a long-term position at this time.
I absolutely adore working with kids and have a fun, nurturing, and fair approach to their well-being. My goal is for the kids in my care to feel safe enough to be their goofy selves, but also to be respectful and kind.
I am from a big family (one of four), so I understand the daily chaos that family life brings.

My Experience
In terms of experience, I have worked with children for over 10 years!
I have experience working as an Au Pair in Australia, which involved looking after four kids under 10 (as well as some cooking, cleaning and housework).
I also have 5+ years of babysitting experience and 6+ years working at a summer camp in the US, which is where I'll be heading in June (I run the swim department over there and look over girls ranging from 7-16, which is quite the task, but also very rewarding). I love my summers over there!
I have experience with housekeeping and cooking too from previously working on yachts and cooking in ski chalets. I am very confident helping in those departments should that be required. I also have an advanced DBS police check, am first aid qualified and have swim & surf coach qualifications. I also drive!

My Availability
I’m very flexible during the week and can help with before and after school if required.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
Open to discussion. I charge a fixed rate for overnight.
