About Me
Hello my name is Kirsty. We are a busy family of four living in Renfrew looking for regular and occasional help with childcare. Our boys are 5 & 6 and we live in a busy high energy house. We are exploring options and availability as our youngest has additional support needs and we are looking to introduce a competent new person into our circle in order for things to continue to run smoothly.
We are hoping to meet local childcare providers who have the experience, skills and understanding of our family's needs. M is well supported at home and in specialist education and therapies. We want you to have fun and enjoy each other!
M is non verbal and presents much younger than his years having limited communication, autism and learning difficulties. He lives in the moment. He is energetic, has the best giggle and is easily distracted. We celebrate different milestones from typical families and understand different considerations are required to meet our family's needs. As a family we enjoy getting messy, playing and being outside.
We are looking for assistance mainly during school holidays with some regular time between to help with transitioning and maintaining familiarity. We are flexible with days for this and would look to set out a calendar in advance with you keeping both yours and our other family commitments in mind.

My Requirements
(Part of) school holidays. Ideally one week in Easter, 2-3 weeks in summer, and perhaps a couple of days in October week. Summer could be at beginning or end of school holidays to ensure you also enjoy an extended summer break. We both work shorter summer hours and return home 3.30/4pm. Childcare can be at ours or yours depending on your set up/status. Open to discussing what works for us all and planning ahead.
Occasional hours to introduce and maintain semi regular contact could be weekends or after school. Perhaps a monthly afternoon? Or whatever is best for you.
