Outstanding childminder

When I needed to look for childcare for my little girl I visited a few nurseries and childminders, however I didn’t get the feeling any of them was right for Isabelle.
Luckily then I found Nikki!
From our first telephone conversation and visit I knew she will be the perfect person that I can trust to leave Isabelle with. She is absolutely lovely, extremely kind and loving person that passes all her calmness to the children. As Isabelle spends most of her time with Nikki I can say she has helped her massively with her language, relationships with the other children and understanding of the world.
She has the ability to make the children listen to her in the most kind way and to make them work through their big feelings.
Nikki always listened to any of our request and worries about Isabelle and always supported us and helped us.
Her house is lovely, with big garden and the kids love the other family members and Isabelle always talks highly about all of them.
I couldn’t be more happier with her care and highly recommend her.

Absolutely amazing childminder!

Nikki is an absolutely amazing childminder!
From our first visit to Nikki with Henry we knew we wanted Henry to attend her setting!
Henry started with Nikki just after he turned one and Nikki was great at helping him to settle in. She communicated and reassured us throughout the day that Henry was absolutely fine and these regular updates really helped to ease me into leaving Henry to go back to work!

Henry is absolutely thriving in Nikki’s care and he runs in straight in so happily and waves goodbye to me! He gets so excited on the drive to Nikki’s to see all of his friends and of course Nikki! The relationship he has built with the other children is so lovely and so heartwarming to see, especially when Nikki sends us pictures of their day, it’s so lovely to see what they’ve been up to and where they’ve been.

Nikki’s communication is amazing, she always keeps me updated and answers any questions I have. She has such a kind and caring nature and you can see how much she loves the children and the children love her!
Her home is warm and friendly and there are so many toys for the children. She also has a big garden with so many toys! Plus they go out so regularly to parks, music groups and to meet other childminders and their children which is great to extend the children’s socialisation with others!
I would 100% recommend Nikki as a childminder to others, it’s the best decision we made sending Henry to her!

Excellent Childminder Service

We placed our daughter with Nikki in September 2023 when she was 23 months old. Nikki invited us for an informal chat prior to agreeing terms of her service for our daughter.

Nikki is friendly and welcoming. It was clear to see at our first meeting with her how special her relationship was with each of the children that she had in her care at that time. Nikki was honest, open, straightforward and extremely informative prior to making our agreement with her. Nikki had all the information we needed to hand, such as her qualification and safety certificates, and she ensured that we were given all relevant paperwork prior to our agreement so that we could review everything we needed to.

Our daughter was given opportunity for 'taster' sessions with Nikki and her group prior to her commencement date which were extremely beneficial.

Our daughter can be fairly timid, but since the beginning of her care Nikki has encouraged her and her language and interaction skills have come on in leaps and bounds! Our daughter's bonds with the other children in Nikki's care have grown in strength week after week, and she misses them all at the weekend.

Now, our daughter is especially animated on Wednesdays when Nikki takes her group to a local children's entertainer... there's always lots of singing and dancing on the way home on those days! It's wonderful for us as parents to see the enjoyment she gets through Nikki's group.

We know that Nikki is close to other local childminders. They sometimes meet up for play dates at the various local parks. It's brilliant to see all the fun they have in the photos we receive from Nikki. It's also wonderful to be handed over our daughter's creations on collection when they have had a creative day!

Nikki is always professional. She goes above and beyond to make each of the children in her care feel special, listened to, and have their development and talents applauded!

We thank Nikki for all her hard work! Our plan is that daughter will remain in Nikki's care until she begins school and we look forward to Nikki's continuing support and help with our daughter's life's experiences and development!

For anyone looking for a childminder service local to her, I highly recommend Nikki.
