My Summary
About Me
I am a Registered childminder and have been registered for 12 years, before this i was a childminding assistant. I have 3 children of my own and have cared for them for 30 years. I have worked in schools and within the church 'kids work' groups - so have spent considerable amounts of time working with children.
I currently care for 7 children aged between 1 and 10 years. We spend our week doing different activities and the mornings are spent going to various play groups, play areas, library, parks (local park or Coombe abbey/Memorial Park. We visit places such as Coventry Cathedral, the Motor Museum and the art gallery.
During the afternoon we have play at home, in the garden, weather permitting and indoor play activities such as arts and crafts, messy or water play or playing with a large range of toys or even just sitting reading a book having some quiet time.
I meet with lots of other childminders too so the children get to see and play with their friends often.
I am currently registered also for 2, 3 and 4 year old funding.
My Experience
Registered for 12 years. Childminding assistant for 2 years previously. I have 3 children of my own and have cared for them for 30 years. Have worked in schools around the city and have worked with children in Church groups.
I drop off and collect from Ernesford Grange Primary school.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3
CRB checked
Fully first aid trained
EYFS course completed
Safeguarding children
numerous other courses completed that are available for parents to view
My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
I charge per hour but can negotiate a day rate if that is better for the client. Children that are that are term time only pay for term time only. Q
I still charge full fees on days of sickness or holidays but i do not charge if I take holiday and I don't charge for bank holidays.
My Local Schools
This childminder has not yet informed us whether or not they provide any drop off or pick up services at local schools.
