About Me
I'm originally from Glasgow and have lived in London for the past 17 years. I live with my 19 year old son. I feel, and have been told, that I have a natural affinity with children and they are at the heart of my working practice. I love my job and get enormous satisfaction from seeing children grow, learn and develop in my care. My personal interests are art, theatre and travel and I love to use these interests to inspire the children. I have successfully built up my childminding business and my reputation locally is of the highest regard. I'm very proud of this!
The children have access to a designated playroom, large secure garden and we visit local parks,
gardens, woods, the library museum etc.
I have recently added a new arm to my business, Providing support and advice to parents on a consultation basis. Areas covered include, sleep training, promoting positive behavior, potty training, play experiences, fussy eaters, and night nanny services.

My Experience
Whilst training as a Nursery Nurse I spent 2 years gaining both theoretical knowledge as welll as practical based experience through my placements in a Nursey class, Nursery school and a special needs centre.
I qualified in 1999 and I have worked both as a Childminder and Nanny ever since.
I also have a wealth of experience gained from being a Mum myself.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse (HNC in Childcare and Education), Childminder and Paediatric First Aider. I have completed courses on drug awareness, safeguarding (child protection), EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), special needs and food hygiene.
