Hello! I'm a 25 year old Nursing student. I am looking for some babysitting jobs outside of my academic schedule - whether they are ad-hoc jobs or more regular. I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing games, and going on walks. I love spending time with children, and have nieces and nephews who I see often.
I'm an honest and enthusiastic person, and extremely responsible in regards to safeguarding and protecting children. I'm able to help with school homework, cooking, games, sports and any other activity.
I usually spend time switching between my mum’s house (SN8) and my dad’s house (TW12).
My Experience
- Spending 2 months in the summer of 2018 Nepal volunteering in an Orphanage, looking after children from the ages of 2-14, and I also volunteered as an English teaching assistant in a Monastery.
- In the Spring/Summer of 2021 I worked with a family from a Nanny agency to complete school pick-ups and extra activities for 4 days a week until the beginning of the school holidays. Helping the youngest child with spelling and reading homework, whilst encouraging stimulating games and activities like crafts, baking, assisting in play dates and playing in the garden. I developed a really positive relationship with the children in such a short space of time, and gained some great feedback from their parents.
My Qualifications
I haven't completed any childcare qualifications in the past.
My Availability
- On weekends I am usually free so they are a good time for me to work.
- On November 7th I begin my placement working in a hospital, so my availability during the week will be less.
- I am happy to working an overnight nannying job if need be!
