Hello, my name is Tacha. I am an experienced and dedicated childcare professional seeking a new role, as my current charge, a little girl I have cared for since she was just six weeks old, will soon be starting full time nursery at 20 months.
I am a calm, friendly, and nurturing practitioner who genuinely loves working with both children and families. I am equally comfortable working independently or as part of a wider team, and I firmly believe that open communication is the foundation of any successful childcare arrangement. I always consult with parents before introducing anything new, ensuring they feel informed, involved, and confident in my care.
I have a deep passion for child development and take great joy in watching children grow into their own unique little people. I provide a wide range of stimulating, age appropriate, and fun activities to support every stage of development. I fully understand the importance of routine and consistency for babies and young children, and I am committed to upholding the routines families have in place, while also appreciating the need for flexibility when life calls for it.
In my current nanny role, I supported the family from the very beginning, helping with weaning, maintaining the parents’ chosen routine, and providing consistent, loving care. The little girl is now a happy, confident toddler, which I am incredibly proud to have been a part of.

My Experience
I have 16 years of experience in childcare, nine of which have been spent nannying with a variety of families. This gives me a broad and well rounded understanding of children aged six weeks to 12 years. I currently carry out agency work in nurseries,keeping my practice fresh and my knowledge of different ages and stages current.

Level 2 and 3 in childcare and education, current paediatric first aid certificate.

It is my great pleasure to recommend Tacha as a nanny. She has been caring for my 8-year-old son for last 5 months. She was with us also prior to this for a temporary summer position in 2019.
Tacha is bright, reliable, and affectionate. She is also well-versed in special needs, both due to her willingness to learn and a natural affinity toward children. She understands my son and his complex needs in such a delightful way, understanding and assisting with his challenging behaviours and trying to distract him. Tacha is very flexible and happy to work with me in the best way to suit and support our family. Tacha also helps around the house and has a general 'mucking in' attitude. She is as comfortable working with me to support my son as she is working sole charge and taking him out on trips alone.
We are extremely lucky to have found Tacha as she is a god send to us.
