Play Days Academy opened in august 2016 after extensive renovation & refurbishment of the beautiful part listed, detached former stable block & servants quarter (Glen Parva Manor House 1640). The Academy is et in an idyllic semi rural location surrounded by meadow-land, paddocks & open fields. The children's outdoor play area is separated from the horses paddock by a low fence allowing the children to feed, pet & talk to the horses.. Ted, Armani, Sapphie & co who live in the stables at the rear of the nursery, shared by geese, hens, cats & dogs!
The children explore the beautiful countryside on our doorstep daily, dressed in waterproof protective clothing ....regardless of the weather.
There are four beautiful natural play lounges, our aim being to bring the outdoors in!
All staff are qualified & hold full Disclosure & barring service checks (DBS /CRB), updated annually.
Our sister setting Play Days Nursery, achieved "Outstanding" rating after its last inspection Nov 2015 & also holds "Talk Matters IN Leicester" speech, language & communication accreditation (June 2015)/ the Academy hopes to achieve similar status in future (Ofsted inspection cycle 30 months from registration)
