About Me
My name is Gabrielle Richmond and I am an Ofsted Outstanding Registered Childminder and PACEY Member, with whom I have my Public Liability Insurance. I look to provide high quality and affordable childcare in a caring environment, with a variety of fun and stimulating toys, books and equipment for all ages.
I am 44 years old and married to Chris, we have two daughters aged 16 and 19. I aim to provide a home from home setting, ensuring that children feel safe, settled and secure. I believe that all children learn more in a relaxed and happy environment.
We aim to work closely with parents to ensure that their children achieve their next steps and provide activities that stimulate and interest the children.
I have a full driving licence and appropriate insurance. I have a valid DBS check as does my husband and assistants. I am also registered with Ofsted with a recent outstanding inspection.
We enjoy lots of outside play.

My Experience
I am Ofsted Outstanding. I have been open 7 years now and have looked after a range of different aged children and love it. I work closely with my assistant Danielle, who is also a trained primary school teacher . I have 2 older children and often look after my friends children as well as my nieces and nephews.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 childminder qualification, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training. I also have a BA Hons degree in Sociology.
My Availability
Limited Spaces available from Summer 2027.

- Childminding from £7.44 per hour

After an unsettling time with nursery I decided to look for a childminder and met Gabi, she was extremely patient with me and understanding when I explained mine and my husbands worries. We felt very comfortable and decided to start settling sessions - no one could believe the positive change in my son and he loves going there which has made both my husband and I feel so much more relaxed and we now don’t spend our days worrying how he is.
Whilst Harry was settling Gabi kept me updated with how he was getting on as I was nervous after our previous experience.
Gabi always gives a detailed handover when I pick my son up and has always communicated very well.
There is always a calm, positive feeling at the house and Gabi and her assistant Kat are both lovely, I’d highly recommend them.

Choosing someone to look after your little ones is a bit of a scary process !... we couldn't be happier with our choice with Gabi , both the girls absolutely love their time spent in her care. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend at all. They settled in so quickly too .

Gabi currently looks after my 11 month old daughter Florence one day a week and both myself and Florence couldn't be happier! Gabi is genuinely one of the loveliest people I know and her 'home from home' child minding setting is warm and welcoming. Florence always has a fun filled, engaging day with Gabi - plenty of toys and activities to keep her occupied plus the added bonus of time with Gabi's own two daughters, whom she now loves! Gabi is reliable, dependable and a fantastic communicator - she always lets me know how Florence is doing during the day and provides a brilliant hand over when I collect her in the evenings. I honestly couldn't recommend Gabi highly enough and only wish she'd been child minding when I'd had my eldest child 4 years ago.
