About Me

My name is Elaine Macaulay I am originally from Ireland. I am a registered childminder in the Deans/Eliburn area of Livingston. I have 2 children of my own a 12 yr old girl and an 9yr old boy. We also have a cat called Ivy. I offer a home away from home childminding service and welcome lots of input from parents.

We spend a lot of time outdoors exploring local parks. I love being a child minder and seeing the children in my care have fun and develop friendships together.

My Experience

I have been a registered childminder since Sept 2015. I have first aid training. I can pick up at St.John Ogilive primary school and Woodlands nursery other nurseries considered.

My Qualifications

I am a registered childminder since 2015.
I am a member of the SCMA.
I have completed paediatric first aid training for the second time,
I have completed a Child Protection Course.
I have also completed a community childcare course.
I have completed a GIRFEC training course.
I have completed a REHIS elementary food hygiene course.

I have completed a certificate in understanding autism level 2

I have completed an SVQ 3 in children and young people.

My Availability

I will have a Mon - Thurs space available from Dec 2023. Hours available are 8am - 5pm also have 8am - 3pm available.

Excellent Childminding services.

Elaine is great, she has been child minding my kids for over a year and never once did I have any reason to worry about the safety or care of my children. My kids loved staying at her place after pick up from school, they also enjoyed playing with her two beautiful kids. Elaine took good care of my kids as if they were hers, I would highly recommend her services to anyone. Thanks Elaine for looking after my kids xxx
