About Me

Hi, my name is Marie. I live in Thorley, Bishops Stortford with my husband and three wonderful children, I have many years experience in childcare and love interacting and caring for children of all ages and helping them move forward in a fun home environment.

My Experience

I have worked with children for many years, firstly in a nursery setting at Busy bees nursery in Hertford. I gained experience here in all age ranges from 6 months to 5 years old and did this for many years. I then went on to be a Nanny for a wonderful family in Hertford for approximately 6 years until I started my own family so then took a break until now.

My Qualifications

My qualifications include -
NCFE CACHE level 3 award in preparing to work in home based childcare.
Paediatric first aid certificate.
Full DBS.
Pacey supporting children with speech, language and communication needs course.
Pacey safeguarding children course.

My Availability

I currently have one space Tuesday to Thursday available from September.

Marie is such a good childminder that I had to keep returning! I have entrusted Marie with all 3 of my children and I couldn't ask for anyone better. Marie is incredibly caring and creates a warm and welcoming environment where our children have thrived. We’re always kept up to date with clear, thoughtful communication, and it’s lovely to hear about the variety of activities the children get to enjoy each day. It’s clear that she puts a lot of effort into making sure the children are happy, engaged, and well looked after. We feel very lucky to have found her and would highly recommend her to other families.

Super childminder!!

5 stars

Marie has cared for both my boys when I returned to work. They both absolutely love going to her, it’s like home from home. She does so much with them- they are always out, painting, playing, eating!!! And just having fun all day. She is so kind and loving with the children, I trust her 100% and wouldn’t send my boys to anyone else. She also always accommodates her day if I ever need help.
I get regular updates and photos and the fact that they don’t want to come home speaks volumes!! Thank you Marie for the love and kindness you have always shown my boys, and for treating them like your own.
I can’t speak anymore highly of my fabulous childminder!!!
