I was a Nurse years ago and have 32 years experience of nannying.
I am 58, married with two grown up girls an 8yr old grandaughter and 4 yr old grandson. I have a (very) chatty and positive outlook on life; hardworking and responsible. I am kind and patient. I am consistent but not dictatorial! The children in my care know what's expected of them as no always means no as there's always a very good reason which is always explained and so that doesn't change! Equally, if they ask to go to a park in the dark and it's doable, then why on earth not!?
I am absolutely a can do sort of person and will go above and beyond to try to make the family's lives easier on the days I am not there so that they can enjoy their child time!
I am happy to muck in and plough through a list of chores so long as there is time spare and the children have come first. Most young ones are happy to join in doing washing and shopping and older ones may not love it as much, but they are life skills worth learning!
I may be older than most nannies but I've years of experience and just love this job to bits!
My Experience
All age ranges from newborn to older teens. I would be able to confidently care for a child with additional needs and have level 2 caring for children with autism. Currently studying level 3

Karen is a wonderful nanny and has looked after my two children to the absolute best of her ability. My children adore her, as do I and she has been the best support we could have asked for.
She works hard, going above and beyond on a regular basis. She is thoughtful and considerate and remembers little details, which makes you feel very special. I know that we will miss her so very much.
Anyone who has the opportunity to employ Karen should - your children will have the very best care, love and education. Plus she also gives amazing cuddles and is a phenomenal cook and cake baker!
