My Requirements

About the role: Maternity cover until September 2027 (to be confirmed)

We are a friendly family of five based in Sevenoaks (TN15), originally from Canada and the Netherlands. Our family includes a 12-year-old boy, a 8-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old girl.

Our children attend local schools, all within a 10-minute drive of our home. They are sociable, kind, and confident children who enjoy spending time with both adults and other children. They love being outdoors, going on adventures, creative play, baking, football, arts and crafts, painting, and drawing. They also have a wonderful group of local friends and enjoy regular playdates.

We are looking for a fun, reliable, and engaging nanny for 2-3 days after-school care during term time, with additional hours available during school holidays:

- term time: up to 12h/week covering 2 or 3 days per week (between Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) ~ 3:30pm–7:30pm
- there may be opportunities for additional hours during holidays
- occasionally I travel for work (2-3 times per year) and during these periods we may require additional hours (with enough notice given)

The main responsibilities include:
- Collecting our two younger children from school
- Supervising and engaging them in age-appropriate activities
- Helping with homework where needed
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Supporting their evening routine and getting them ready for bed
- Assisting with light household duties, including laundry, tidying children's areas, and helping keep the house organised at the end of the day
