About Me
Hi, I'm Sarah and my husband is Ahmed. We have a 7 year old son with additional needs as well as an 1 year old baby. My 6 year old has a speech delay and uses limited (but improving!) verbal communication. He is loving and very sociable. He is able to express himself, he has no behavioural issues and is very friendly. He loves laughing, having fun and playing.
My Requirements
I am looking for a nanny to help me look after my children on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The hours are usually from school pick up time to 8pm, longer during school holidays. Ideally the nanny would start at the beginning of April.
This role involves picking up my older son from his school which is located about a mile from our home at 3.25pm, bringing him home then picking up my younger son from his nursery at around 5.30pm. You would then be required to play with and help my sons’ with their daily routine until bedtime. I will usually ask you to cook a very simple dinner for the family.
I will usually be working from home while you are here but sometimes I have to go out for work.
Up to date DBS certificate and two previous childcare references including current employer is essential.
Special needs experience is a bonus as it would be fantastic if you could think of creative ways to help my older son with his therapy programmes while you are here.
You must be a non-smoker.
As part of this role I expect you to perform a few basic household tasks such as cleaning up after the children, washing their dishes, tidying up their toys, folding and ironing their clothes.
We also have a small cat called Layla.
Rate is negotiable.
