About Me
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I know that looking for childcare for your little one can be a daunting experience wondering where to start.
I have been in childcare from leaving education myself, I started off working in a school but became a registered childminder when my daughter was born in 1986. I now have 2 adult children and a granddaughter.
I offer a warm and loving home from home setting. I like to be very proactive with the children, I love taking them out to various places (and exploring new ones), including but not limited to:
Music groups,
Craft groups,
Soft plays,
Parks,
Library,
Local walks,
Museums,
Zoos/farms/safari parks.
I can provide lunch and home cooked dinners on request at an extra charge.
I have experience in childcare from newborns to secondary school age children. I currently only provide school pick up and drops off to Grove Road Primary school, but have full time places available for pre school age children.

My Experience
I have over 35 years experience in caring from children from newborn to secondary school age.
Over the years I have taken pleasure in my job watching the children grow and helping them achieve their goals, whether its learning to feed themselves or the dreaded spelling test at school.
My home is set out with a play room and the children know that they are free to play through out the downstairs area, i regularly rotate toys so that children don't get bored and try to cater for the most "in toys" I have an enclosed garden perfect for garden days where there is a range of garden toys from ride ons to slides, and in the warmer days we have water and sand play.
I have designated bedrooms for those that still need a sleep and have cots/beds ready for their routine nap times.
I can provide references from current and past families.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Child care
Pediatric First Aid qualification (updated every 3 years)
Safe Guarding Children (updated every 3 years)
Food Hygiene
I have also completed many short courses gaining many qualifications, too many of which to list but I will happily go through with you if you choose to come to my home for an interview.
My Availability
I am registered for 3 children between 5-15 and 3 children under 5.
I have places available now for full time pre school age children.
If you require school collection/drop off, please note that I only attend Grove Road Primary School.
