About Me
My name is Lukia Xhaferi. I was born and raised in Greece and moved to London in 2016 after getting married. I speak English, Greek and Albanian fluently.
I have over 10 years’ experience working with children, both as a fully qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator and as a private nanny. I have worked in nursery settings with children aged 2–4 years, as well as in private households, caring for children from newborn through to 12 years old.
Alongside my childcare experience, I have additional training in infant sleep, allowing me to support healthy routines in a gentle, responsive way.
I am a reliable and nurturing caregiver with strong cooking skills and a creative approach to planning engaging, stimulating activities that support children’s development while keeping things fun and age-appropriate.
I am also a mum myself and currently have a 7-month-old baby. I am now looking for a part-time nanny role with a family who would be happy for me to bring my own child along, creating a warm, social environment where both children can benefit from interaction and shared play, while still receiving attentive, individual care.

January 2023 - April 2024: Worked at a nursery in Twickenham as a nursery nurse with children aged 2-3 years old.
August 2020- December 2022: Worked as a part time nanny for two children aged 5 months and 3 years old.
September 2016 - 2020: Worked in a nursery in Barnes as a nursery nurse with children aged 2 - 4 years old.
June 2017- 2020: I worked as a part time after school nanny for two children aged 5 and 8 years old.
March 2017- May 2017: I worked for a short period as part time nanny for a family with three boys aged 8, 10 and 12 years old.
June 2010- September 2014: I have previously worked as a nanny for a family with twins from birth until the age of 4 (with some gap between those years).
