About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2005. I really enjoy working and playing with children and helping them develop to their full potential. I have taken a CACHE Level 3 in childminding and I regularly update my training. I use the Early Years Foundation Stage, the 7 areas of learning to help children grow. I have a spacious house that stimulates a warm, safe learning environment with 3 play areas, which includes a garden, living room and a separate playroom. I have an OFSTED Registered assistant to help the running of the setting. I have achieved a 5 star rating from the Camden Food Hygiene Standard. In my last inspection, I have achieved a good grade from Ofsted. I accept all government funding, including 15hr government funded hours.
My Experience
I am mainly experienced with younger children between the ages of 5 months to 5 year old.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE level 3 in childcare, first aid, safe guarding children certificates and I have a range of other certifications for different courses. I also regularly update my training.

My Fees
- Childminding from £9.50 per hour
£9 and that includes everything such as food (breakfast, lunch and snack), nappies and wipes.
Daily charge of £82 per day from 8am-5:30pm

My son was with Shafia for almost 2 years. For him it felt like a second home and every time we go past where she lives he always asks if he can pop in and say hello. Shafia and her husband Abdul and extremely warm individuals who take great care and love in what they do. We were very sad when our son left but all kids grow up and move on! I would not hesitate to anyone sending their child to Shafia. They only want and do the best for the child, seeing everyone as an individual and caring for them as if they were their own.

We have used Shafia and Abdul as our childminders for both of our daughters and had a really positive experience. My youngest daughter is still there and the oldest still sometimes asks to go in her school holidays. They are kind, caring people and their setting is calm and clean with lots of great toys and activities, including a garden. Both girls were very happy and comfortable, which gave me and my partner great peace of mind. They provide nappies and provide an excellent range of home cooked food. My girls napped more successfully for Shafia than they did for me. They are responsive and flexible, which is very helpful as both partner and I work full time. They also accept tax free childcare and offer the 15 and 30 hours childcare, which makes a big difference for us.

My son has been with Shafia for 4 months now and I can't thank her enough for her help. She look after my son in a part time base during all the week and my son is always happy to go. She provides a safe and stimulating setting with plenty of toys and art materials and she has a nice garden in the back where kids can play safely in a wooden payment. She is a bright and smiling lady and always accommodated us and helped. For example, she offers flexibility on schedule and she adviced me when my son was in potty training and now he is doing wonderfully thanks to her help too! I would recommend her.
