About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2005. I really enjoy working and playing with children and helping them develop to their full potential. I have taken a CACHE Level 3 in childminding and I regularly update my training. I use the Early Years Foundation Stage, the 7 areas of learning to help children grow. I also create learning journey portfolios of children who I care for. I have a spacious house that stimulates a warm, safe learning environment that includes a garden, living room and a separate playroom. I have achieved a 5 star rating of the Camden Food Hygiene Standard. I also regularly visit parks and libraries with the children. In my last inspection, I have achieved a good Grade from Ofsted.
My Experience
I am mainly experienced with younger children between the ages of 5-6 months to 5 year olds. Recently I have looked after children between the ages of 6 months to 5 years old.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in childcare certificate, first aid certificates, safe guarding children certificates and I have a range of other certifications for different courses. I also regularly update my certificates.

My son has been with Shafia for 4 months now and I can't thank her enough for her help. She look after my son in a part time base during all the week and my son is always happy to go. She provides a safe and stimulating setting with plenty of toys and art materials and she has a nice garden in the back where kids can play safely in a wooden payment. She is a bright and smiling lady and always accommodated us and helped. For example, she offers flexibility on schedule and she adviced me when my son was in potty training and now he is doing wonderfully thanks to her help too! I would recommend her.
