About Me
My name is Tracy Inglis, I live in old skelmerdale with my husband steven and my 2 beautiful children who are 12 years old and 11 years old.
I have had years of experience in providing care for children and I get great satisfaction from my role.
my aim as a childminder is to provide a safe, secure, happy enviroment, were each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
I strive to build good working relationships with parents and carers. I like to provide home from home care. We have a designated room for play, a large living room for play, relaxing, reading etc, 2 large bedrooms up stairs with a great variety of toys these rooms can also be used as playrooms. My kitchen is were all the messy play and baking will take place. The out side garden is totally enclosed and we have a large selection of garden toys. We will spend a lot of time outside, in the garden, in the woods, farms, parks and lots more.
I look forward to meeting new children and their families.
My Experience
I have worked with children in care in the isle of man. working to teach and encourage life skills to build confidence and promote independence and to offer support with every day life. Our aim was to provide a safe, secure and happy home for the children to live in.
Before having my children I was a manager for children and young adults with learning disabilities. I covered Wigan, Leigh and Chorley. The teams aim was to support and build life skills to promote independence and create opportunities for each individual to reach their full potential.
I have gained great experience from looking after my own children who are amazing. They teach me new things everyday. There is 13 months between them and I feel because of this it has given me great experience in all aspects of looking after young children and new borns.

Tracy is an empathetic and compassionate childminder who attends to the individual needs of the children in her care. The children enjoy the activities and experiences she prepares for them and are happy in her company. It is wonderful to see how the children grow in confidence and flourish in her care including building confidence, developing independence, learning to cooperate and play together. I would highly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where their child is happy and well cared for.

Tracy looked after my children when we had to take them out of a nursery setting. Tracy is very trustworthy and reliable. I would 100% recommend Tracy to anyone who is looking for a childminder they can happily leave their child/children with. The set up Tracy has is perfect for the children together with the adventures they go on. Look no further you have found the best there is! 🥰

Tracy has provided childcare to my daughter from the age of 2 until she left to start reception and has now been childminding my my son since I went back to work at 9 months. My children absolutely adore Tracy and her lovely family and I feel at complete ease knowing that even though I am working full time, my children are thriving and being cared for exceptionally. Tracy always has so many exciting activities planned from attending childcare groups, going to play centres, going to the farm or visiting the safari park and my daughter still asks if she can go to her Tracy's!
I would highly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for an amazing and caring childminder. Thankyou!
